Hello Friends, My name is Amer , & I am a Word Press Theme Developer , This is a small video series for Word Press beginners , to learn Word Press Theme Development from scratch , This is the fresh installation of Word Press , I have just Installed it, This is the Dashboard , if you go to Appearance->Themes , Here are Default themes, twenty thirteen, twenty fourteen & twenty fifteen , We are going to create one more theme here. , we can add themes by going to add new , and these are the themes , which are on Word Press Repository , we can filter themes , you can also upload a .zip version of you theme , by going to upload and then you can select a theme , and install it. , this is our theme , as we are going to make new theme, so we will delete this , lets go to the Word Press folder where themes are located , so that we can take a look on the installed themes , my Word Press is installed here in Development folder, inside this we have carbon white , inside your Word Press installation you will find three folders , WP-content is the folder which will contain themes and plugins , Go to themes, these are three themes we have by default. , so we are going to create one more, create a new folder , name it "Carbon White" , as for as this folder is empty we are not going to see anything , although we will see a broken theme here if we reload the page. , you can see a broken theme here. , carbon-white style sheet is missing , so int the next video i will show you which files are required and we will create the first three files. , Thank you For Watching, Have a Good Day!
